WARRANTY: JPC CONTROLS WARRANTS ITS NEW PRODUCTS TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS
IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP UNDER THE SERVICE FOR WHICH THEY ARE
INTENDED. THIS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE FOR TWELVE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF
SHIPMENT.
EXCLUSIONS: THIS
WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
JPC CONTROLS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES.
NO PERSON OTHER THAN AN OFFICER IS AUTHORIZED TO GIVE ANY
OTHER WARRANTY OR ASSUME ANY LIABILITY.
REMEDIES: THE PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE:
(1) THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PARTS OR PRODUCTS,
WITHOUT CHARGE. (2) AT THE
OPTION OF JPC CONTROLS, THE REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE.

SUPPORT
POLICY
JPC CONTROLS PROVIDES
SUPPORT FOR ALL THE UNITS IT PRODUCES. IF THE UNIT HAS A PRIVATE
LABEL, SUPPORT SHOULD BE INITIATED THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTOR OR OEM. IF
THE UNIT IS A PROCON UNIT, SUPPORT CAN BE OBTAINED DIRECTLY
THROUGH JPC. IF THE DISTRIBUTOR OR OEM IS NO LONGER
AVAILABLE, JPC WILL PROVIDE DIRECT SUPPORT.
IF YOU HAVE A UNIT WHICH WAS
BUILT BY JPC CONTROLS AND YOU ARE NOT SURE WHERE TO GET SUPPORT OR YOU
ARE HAVING DIFFICULTLY GETTING SUPPORT, PLEASE CALL US DIRECTLY AND WE
WILL GET YOU THE SUPPORT YOU NEED.
IN WARRANTY: UNIT WILL BE COVERED BY ITS ORIGINAL WARRANTY
UNLESS IT IS FOUND TO BE FIELD DAMAGED (E.G. OVER VOLTAGE, MISSING
PARTS, UNIT DROPPED, FLUID DAMAGE, CORROSION DAMAGE, ETC.).
OUT
OF WARRANTY: UNIT CAN BE REBUILT FOR A FLAT RATE OF 1/2 THE PRICE OF A NEW
UNIT. REBUILT UNITS INCLUDE A 6 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY. IF CUSTOMER WISHES, THE UNIT
MAY BE ABLE TO BE UPGRADED TO A MORE CURRENT VERSION AT SAME TIME AS THE
REBUILD. AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE WOULD APPLY.

REBUILDING
POLICY
JPC CONTROLS OFFERS AN 'OUT
OF WARRANTY' REBUILDING SERVICE. THE FOLLOWING IS AN OUTLINE OF
THE GENERAL TERMS OF THIS SERVICE.

ONLY
THE OEM OR DISTRIBUTOR WHO ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THE UNIT MAY RETURN
IT FOR SERVICE, UNLESS (1) THE OEM/DISTRIBUTOR HAS GRANTED THE
SERVICE RIGHTS TO ANOTHER PARTY (2) THE OEM/DISTRIBUTOR IS NO LONGER
AN ACTIVE JPC CUSTOMER.

ONLY REBUILDS UNIT, WE DO NOT REPAIR THEM. THIS INSURES THAT
THE UNIT WILL PROVIDE THE BEST LONG RANGE SERVICE TO THE USER.

THE
CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FREIGHT CHARGES.

THE
CUSTOMER MUST OBTAIN AN RMA NUMBER PRIOR TO RETURNING A
UNIT. ALL UNITS MUST BE ASSIGNED A VALID PURCHASE ORDER PRIOR
TO BEING SCHEDULED. ANY UNIT HELD FOR 30 DAYS WITHOUT A
PURCHASE ORDER WILL BE RETURNED. (TO REQUEST AN RMA NUMBER PLEASE

PRELIMINARY EVALUATION TO DETERMINE THAT THE UNIT CAN BE REBUILT
WILL BE FURNISHED UPON REQUEST. THIS IS NOT A FAILURE
ANALYSIS, BUT SIMPLY AN INDICATION THAT THE UNIT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE
SCRAPPED.

UNIT THAT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR REBUILDING WILL BE DESIGNATED AS
'SCRAP'. THE CUSTOMER WILL BE GIVEN THE OPTION OF EITHER
HAVING THE UNIT RETURNED OR SCRAPPED IN HOUSE. THIS SERVICE IS
PERFORMED AT 'NO CHARGE'.

GENERALLY,
IF A UNIT IS TO BE REBUILT AND THERE IS 'NO PROBLEM FOUND', IT WILL
BE RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER AT 'NO CHARGE', UNLESS SPECIFIC
ARRANGEMENTS TO THE CONTRARY HAVE BEEN MADE.

RETURNED
UNITS ARE PROCESSED LIKE NORMAL ORDERS, EXCEPT WITH A SHORTER LEAD
TIME. THEY ARE SCHEDULED WITH A VARIABLE LEAD TIME (CURRENTLY
4 WEEKS). PREMIUM TIME FOR FASTER SERVICE IS AVAILABLE AT AN
ADD OF 5% PER WEEK, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

ALL
REBUILT UNITS HAVE A 6 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY.

THE
COST OF REBUILDING 'OUT OF WARRANTY' UNITS IS FIXED AT 1/2 OF THE
CURRENT NEW PRICE.

ALL
REBUILT UNITS WILL GO THROUGH THE SAME BURN-IN AND TESTING AS A NEW
UNIT.

A
REPORT ON THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
THE REPORT IS ONLY AVAILABLE AFTER THE UNIT IS REBUILT, SINCE THE
ONLY RELIABLE WAY TO KNOW THE CAUSE OF FAILURE IS TO FIX THE UNIT
AND PROCESS IT THROUGH BURN-IN AND FINAL TESTING.
